Seeing all the cars you all are working on - I've been inspired :D

So I dug this down from a top shelf tonight, thinking I will clean it up and maybe some new parts

Wow, that's some serious chassis work there . Nice looking ride, look forward to seeing what you do with it.

Yeah, I'm not usually one for cut down chassis' (unless its like an early massami car :D ) but that one is Nice, Really nice! I really dig the milled spots on the nose plate, kind of a ball milled effect. DIG IT!!!

Sweetness! I think I've seen a picture of that car on another site somewhere? I should have guessed a car like that belonged to someone with plenty of rc10 knowledge and craftsmanship

Nevermind, after digging way back in the general forum, I found what I thought was this car, but it does have subtle differences...........

that has got to be one of the most structually sound cut chassis i have ever seen. i am sure that since daryl designed it he took his time and planned his cuts so they would not weaken the chassis at all. the only other cut chassis i ever liked belonged to a local guy i raced aginst in the truck class no less. it was on an original rc-10t and he made every cut triangular, the whole thing was a mess of triangles bottom and sides. his dad did it all with a dremel i think he was an engineer or something.it did not bend at all and he abused the heck out of it in the truck class. it was awesome wish i had pictures i always wanted to replicate it.

Thanks for the possitive feed back gents!

I just like having things that are not stock :) I have never owned a Toy or real car that was like anyone elses.

I'l take pics of my RC10T tub oval truck one day after I clean it up.

Daryl, you would not happen to have any of those chassis reinforcements or braces left would you? I know hoppty offered some up for repos, but that project has fallen a few tiers on the ladder of importance.

Thanks in advance.

I have to imagine they will be CNC cut. Manual is possible, but would take forever. Start saving your duckets for an NC machine Jason.

This one was done on a manual bridgeport took about three hours after work.
