rc10t, a few questions before i start

1. RPM gear cover, will the current t4 cover fit the 10t motor plate?
2. what did you guys use for gearing on an equivalent 8.5t motor? I am going to be running the Reedy 3900kv BL motor and want a starting point or starting gear ratio...
3. Do you think the new gear diff from the SC10 will fit in place of the ball diff in the 2.25 stealth?
4. and last one for now.. I see Kimbrough and RRP make 32p gears for the 10gt. Will this spur fit the 10t stealth top shaft?
I am thinking of running 32p gears.
thanks. Hope my T shows up today so i can fill in my other thread.

The 3900Kv motor is far from equivalent to an 8.5, it's more of a 13.5 and I would start at 22-87
I have been running an 8.5 in my 10t with the 2.65 RPM tranny at 19/87
The Kimborough gears will fit, but you will have trouble getting the ratio's close enough and it's silly loud-
I predict that your 10t will arrive tomorrow

isn't that how it goes LOL
I know the gears are loud. But if i run with no cover i do not have to worry as much about spurs. But gearing ratio issues might make me stay, thanks for that..
13.5 hmm I wondered since it is a short can. I was going off the EZrun 4000kv motor spec, they list that as a 8.5T.
Again thanks for the help..
(still hope it showed up...)

Even if it is a short can if the internals are 380 sized then turn equivalent will be higher. Not sure about Reedy BL sensor-less motors but most are 380 internals in a 540 can.

the ezrun 8.5t is 4000kv and full size 540.
i'm not sure how the power compares to say a novak 8.5t, as i have only used the ezruns in my clod.
the novak 8.5t moves my 10t around very well.

i thought about running a VLX in it, but they are heavy systems.
I ran an EZrun in my mini-t. I liked it, but just hate to wait for the 4 week ship time from JP.
