I picked this up on craigslist. The front passanger side is warped and the front is cracked right by the grill. I'm going to clean it up and take it for a test drive.

I've always liked those. I don't think BoLink sold them for too long. If I remember right they came with a display stand that held it in the wheelie position.

How wide is it at the front and rear wheels? And what's the wheelbase? I need something original for a stadiumtruck

I think its 1/12 scale. It uses the standard BoLink ladder type frame.
Thats cool and a shame. Its a shame because the only thing That makes some of these R/C's rare are the bodies. Now that theres reproduction bodies it throws that out the window. Its cool because now people can have bodies to complete their restorations or no longer have to fear damaging their long out of production body on a runner.

I've got the side plates for the little red wagon chassis if anybody needs a pair. I bought a complete roller which was described as a digger, it even came with the vw body unmounted. It turns out the chassis is different between the 2, but all the other parts are interchangeable. I picked up a new production set of chassis rails and everything else was able to convert over. These cars are a blast to drive. Power to weight ratio is crazy for such a minimalist design.

Yes I saw that. I am going to get one when I get some extra funds.

Thanks

Do you plan on painting it in the Little Red Wagon theme? I have never seen one of these bodies painted any other way before. Maybe they came pre-painted from BoLink is why?

Well as of right now I am leaning more toward either one of the other wheelstander trucks or maybe a black with orange and white flames.

If it were me I'd paint it like the Touch Tone Terror which was also a Dodge A100. Though it only ever existed in model kit form as far as I know.

I thought about that also. Plus I have a copy of the decal sheet so I would have something to use for ref. :D

When I picked this up the tires were trashed. I wonder if there is anyway to keep these ones from cracking?
