Not really sure if this goes here or the Buggy section.
Well to make a long story short. I thought this was throw out when my parents cleaned their garage. Last week I was helping my dad move an old work bench and there it was underneath.
I think its the Championship Edition. I would say it was run about 5 times in the street and then it had gotten lost.

The chassis is just raw finish, I think I stripped it before I built it.
Its actually a chevy body, but I wish I could strip the paint and make it a different color.

Wow, I love it! Talk about a time capsule.
I don't know... I would leave it just the way it is.

Actually it should be the same color as the shocks.
Here is a close up of the bottom. Its pretty oxidized. I tried to get a close up so you could see the reflection of my arm, but it doesn't show up that well.

This is actually the buggy. Since I am a rookie I posted it here because of the truck body. Maybe this should have been in the buggy section. I am going to just clean it up and maybe give it a test run before I retire it to the shelf.
Here is a pic of the original box and body. I always knew where these were so I was always bummed out that I couldn't find the truck.

Very cool. I don't normally see rear sway bars on these, were they offered as an option by AE?
