Price check, isle 10...

So I have not had any luck in my search on here or eBay—apparently Classified threads get deleted here instead of getting to be used as price references—what's a NIB Team RC10 Graphite going for these days? I happened across one recently, and am wondering if it's worth my while to flip it.

Anyone have any prices recent to go on for any NIB RC10s?

One of my pet peeves on forums. When people delete ads or the content including price when it is sold. An F lot of good it does people who use the search function. Happens all the time on my BMW club forum.

I think this one gets pruned past two months back. Such a great resource here, and it's not available if it happened before 11-1-10. :| Past Classifieds are a supreme resource in a forum like this. It's too bad that it gets pruned. :(

even if people didn't delete their prices once their item sells in the bst, it will still be auto-prunned from the bst after 3 months with no activity. main reason why there's usually only 2-3 pages in the bst.

skidrowe just sold a new built from kit graphite car on ebay last week and i don't think it even cracked $400. i don't remember if it was a team car or a 6 gear graphite though. either way, they sure don't bring the money they did a couple years ago.

I here that scr8p, it seems like prices are way down unless it has an MIP 4wd kit. Good for collectors that are buying but bad for the people trying to sell.

FWIW, I sold a NIB aluminum RC10 Team Car for $500 about a year ago. Although the used vintage RC market value has dropped since then, I'm not up to date if NIB prices have gone down as well. It still seems like a reasonable price today.

FWIW I just bought a NIB Rc10 6010 for $385 a couple weeks ago. Not too long ago I saw them go for $900 on e-bay. Right now in today's market you are looking at @500+ I would think. I know I would be interested in it as it has been a good time for NIB kits and I've been re-evaluating my vintage collection and trying to move to NIB kits instead of resto's or "new built" projects.

If you got a good deal on it you may want to hang onto it for a little while longer. If not lets get to bidding!
