What gearing?

I have an RC10T3 running 3k NiMH packs and a Novak 610 RV ESC and recently aquired a Trinity Ti 9x2 mod motor. What gearing would best fit this truck for bashing, racing, and just messing around? Thanks in advance. Hope you gents have a wonderful Christmas.

i dont recommend you to use that 9x2 modified motor for your T3 truck......its over kill for bashing.

Just stick on the 17turns speedgems brush motor lots of fun, speed and run times!

i have a b3 with a 78t 48dp spur gear and a 17t motor, what would be a good tooth pinion for a typical park track please ???? :shock:

I'm back for another gearing question. I recently bought a 21.5 for my son's CE with Stealth and have no clue how to gear it. Any suggestions?

Currently at 30/69 and it is just about perfect. Car is peppy but not too fast. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who has kids who are learning.

Someone please help a brother out with some understanding about gearing (and motors)

I had been out of the hobby for like 25 years....n in the past 2 months, how else can I put this....Im freakin hooked.

Your running 23*81 now...I wouldnt go over 27-28 tops (hits your 3:1 ratio), or drop to a 78 and do 26-27 tops.

Heck, if your feeling dangerous, try a 30...BUT ::warning:: if something lets out the magic smoke...I told ya so!!

Well I picked up a 81 tooth pinion and a set of pinions (16,18,20,22,24,26) so I should be able to get close. I will let you know how it works out.

ok more from me..
i am sticking with the 32p gearing. I modded my VXL rustler to 32P gears to prevent stuck sand and flat out stronger gears.

I plan on using about a 8.5t motor on 2s lipo.
Does any one have a suggestion to what pinion size to...

I believe thats an atlas part you are talking about. He is repro-ing them and usually has them on ebay or in the b/s/t area when he has a batch...

Hi All,
Just wanted to know if yu guys have any gearing suggestions on the YZ-10 if using a 17.5, 10.5 & 5.5 Brushless motors. Also what is the gear ratio of the Yoke is is 2.25?

The early YZ10 was 2.33. Mine came with the 35 tooth diff and 15 tooth center pulley. Not too sure what the 91/93 works cars came with.
