What are you guys using for primer and paint to paint hard plastic bodys? I used a testors primer, which seemed more like a paint, and painted over it with tamiya paint. Not pleased with the results.... hope I don't have to strip the body. :(

Tamiya makes a couple of primers that go on thin and work really well. In your case, there is always easy off oven cleaner to strip the body and start over.

Stripping the body is not difficult ... most plastics handle brake fluid well, and you can always test it on a leftover piece of sprue.

I really like Krylon brand sandable spray primer, which is available at least in grey, white, and black. Really helps paint adhere. And it is cheap. I'm sure that there are others (the primer from PepBoys in their spray paint section comes to mind), although I haven't used it personally.
