servo suggestion

Post by greene-r74 »

My old to new build has hit a snag. Ordered a low profile servo from hobby king. It fits but it glitches and makes a lot of gear noise. So I ordered a hitek 77mg low profile. Its nice but its too long. 1.73" instead of a 1.6 Now all I care about is getting a servo -any servo- to fit the car. already drilled an unnecessary hole in the chassis. grrrrr. any suggestions besides an S148 or 3003. Something with decent speed and torque for about $20-$30. Thinking about getting an RTR B4 servo on ebay. 1903mg Id like to find a low profile but at this point I'd just like to get it done and post some pics.

Here are 2 low profile options, while I havent hit a track with my car yet, out front on the asphalt I have no problems whipping the car around.

metal gear

they have a non metal gear version also for under 20, but i dont see an auction for it right now (same seller)
