Just got me an RC10T3 in great shape, but requires an ESC and radio. Without breaking the bank, what do you folks recommend? Thanks for the input and by the way, great site. :D

Cool man. Welcome to the site. brushless is a good reliable way to go. with a novack havoc system selling for only 150 bucks its not bad at all. what are you plans for the truck?

I just purchased at T3 a week ago from Craigslist. This is my first RC in over 20 years. I've been tearing it down, cleaning everything and taking note of parts I need to replace. Any good websites out there that still carry T3 parts?

towerhobbies, or amainhobbies, or ebay are your best bets.

local hobby stores may still carry old stock of T3, since it's not really really old yet.

Thanks for the replies gents. I plan to run the pooty out of it and maybe race it in the spring. I'm wanting to keep it stock and stay away from the brushless stuff for now. I'm also attempting to get a vintage RC10 buggy for my kiddos. Again, thanks for the info. Have a great weekend folks.

Here's a pic of my recently acquired RC10T from Ebay. Needs some cleaning, but runs awesome. It has a Novak ESC and a REEDY DS spec motor. Moves at about 20-25mph easily. Great site!

Well forget my statement of my RC10T3 moving at 20-25 easily. I ran it with my Garmin GPS on it and it registered a whopping 17.9mph. I changed out the gears, motor was replaced with a Trinity Speed Gem 2(blue can). I'll check it tomorrow afternoon and see what she'll do.
