TLR: Team Losi Racing

Really nice to see Losi positioning themselves as a racing manufacturer again and at least trying to distance the brand created by the Horizon take-over (RTRs, minis, micros, crawlers, etc.) and producing a RACE KIT again. I am holding out hope that the new Twenty-Two is never offered as an RTR or pre-built kit, but the way people are today, you never can be too sure.

So I was browsing through the new slick website (tlracing.com) and stumbled into the UK version of the site that had an interesting History profile of the company. I was a bi surprised to see my old whip top and prominent on the site. I am a big Losi fan, but it would have been nice if they at least asked me to use the photo...

Sounds like you now have the leverage to get a free "evaluation" kit....

Dude, I cannot *believe* that they ripped your photo from the site without giving you props!

I will laugh and think that this is a great story *if* they send you significant free product.

Otherwise, this would confirm the absolute worst of the accusations and vitriol leveled against the Horizon / Losi group. To feature a photo of a lovingly restored car pre-dating the sale and (to some) deterioration of the Losi brand in the hands of Horizon would be simply too much...

Are they so disorganized as to not have excellent stock images of the JRX2 and other vintage rides? Do they not have examples of these cars in their possession?

It is confusing, at best. At worst, it is dishonest and outright theft of intellectual property.

BTW ... your ride is straight pimpin.

I'm totally inspired.

Also: On what surface did you photograph the car? It is nice and matte, color neutral. Let me know what you used, it looks great.
