I am back with a nice project, this project started development a loooong time ago and now I am taking the time to build it. This car is 95% new parts, some used and some custom made. I plan to run this baby so it will use B4 wheels and modern rubber.
Some of the parts:
- Powder coated chassis
- Gold anodized parts
- Custom towers and braces
- Custom arms

I have to thank some members for their support on this project, bigjeepzz, treehugger, JHarris, Ruffy, rc10johnny and some other people that directly or indirectly help out.
Images of the original mock-up:

I need some parts if anyone has some to spare, stealth tranny BB dust cover (the small button in black) and some gold shock shafts. I have some stuff to trade.

Nice Mig! are you going to use the threaded bodies? If so, the V2's?

Not really planning on threaded shocks because I have some sets of non threaded already but I am planning to get a set of B44 shock that I will probable mount and see. what's your opinion on this Reg?
I will post a bit of progress from tonight before I go to bed.

If you are running it, the V2 threaded bodies are way better and, the rears give more rear preload
adjustment than the old style-which is a must for lipo cars to have lighter rear springs, but the old versions of the bodies didn't give you enough preload to run black or softer rear springs-IMO

I was thinking I would go with non threaded bodies and spacers for the spring tensioning and with modern shafts and cap. V2s look awesome but I am not ready to drop the $ on them yet.

Neat project. LOOKING GOOD.
I plan on setting up another over myself soon. I plan on useing my mid engine set up that I just got done with last month.
I have now found that tower hobbies is a good place to look for the old Assocated parts. Prices are right as well.
NOT sure if it will help but it is a start.
VERY nice work for sure cant wait to see it done.
NOTE if you want to see what I did look for custom mid engine under Rustbucket. It was a learn project but it runs nice .
I will turn it into an RC 10 T mid engine when I am compleatly done later
