funny story....................

on saturday, my dad had his 66 vette parked in the same lot as the above pics. and just like any car show, people put flyers in the cars for upcoming events, etc. he was walking around looking at the other cars, and when he got back to his car, he started looking through these flyers. some guy wrote a note saying he wanted to buy his vette, and he'd be back at such n' such a time. so, the guy shows up, and offers my dad $50,000 for his vette. i'm sure my dad was considering it, but he told the guy he was interested in selling it.

about a half hour later, another guy shows up, and asked my dad if he'd like to sell his vette. my dad tells him that he'd been offered $50,000 about a half hour earlier, and turned it down. so the guy says, oh, so i guess you wouldn't accept an offer of $45,000 then, huh?

ya, we've gone the last couple years. a friend of my wife's, her family owns a shore house in fenwick island, delaware. it's just off coastal highway (route 1), about a block or 2 north of the maryland border. it's about a 20 min ride to the boardwalk in maryland, if the traffic isn't bad. so, we get to stay down there at their house for free.

it's been quite a few years since i've gone to the one in wildwood. but, i've been there 2 or 3 times.
