4.1 slipper adjustment

Post by muck »

I have probably missed this in the manual, but is there a starting point for adjustment of the slipper on the T4.1 with the white pads?

I thought i read on here to get the orange pads, is that true?

thanks

0.5mm past flush is the starting point, but just set it so it slips for about 2 feet from a dead stop, and yes the orange pads are way better.

I guess the white stuff is a different material. The red pads must be rulon.

thanks i will have to grab the pads Saturday.

I played with it a bit yesterday... i hope the orange pads are more consistant...
My manual said to adjust flush then 3 turns in. I see the SC10 manual said your way. I will figure it out.

thanks

Never had good luck with the measuring, I usually tighten mine till it pulls a wheelie on carpet and then back off slightly little by little till it slips for a couple feet.
