Hello all, I am putting a runner together and taking all the stock white parts off to be able to build a shelfer after the runner build.Question is I read somewhere here that white spur gears are hard to find.Is this true? I have 4 or 5 here and would rather not run these if they are hard to find.I will order some new ones for the runner and save these if this is the case. Thanks in advance
I think I know some of the answers but---correct me if I'm wrong-- The 6010 etc.. came with 32p 56t, as did all the 6gear cars. The stealth cars (pre worlds) came with the 81t 48p 8 square hole spur ( white mostly), the post worlds cars (all?) came...

Found this auction this weekend, if you're interested - it's an 84T. Bought one myself (as I too am afraid of shredding the spur) - thought about picking up some of the other slipper bits he was selling, but as you alluded to, the stock slipper...
1/8 pan car racing has come back here in a BIG way in Toledo. I have tried to run my RC300 cars at the track with little
success. First i made adapters to use modern tires. The big spur gears that are required to run to get the proper ratio

That's friggin awesome. Want! The centre gear in my Turbo Scorpion is such a weak link. I want to use the car as it has been rebuilt and is ready to rockunroll, but the centre gears are likely to get shredded and they're so very hard to find :/
I've always got the problem of the idler gears worn off too fast. Currently, TH do not have stock for them. As such, I thought of making them into aluminium alloy.
Would you guys go with stainless steel, steel or alloy?
Also, how many of you guys...

The stealth diff gear and idler gear are plastic.
Heres how to make yourself some steel idlers for the six gear.
If you have two extra dogbone drive gears for the six gear cut off the dogbone drive part with a dremel ang there ya go......works...
I'm sure this has been discussed before. What's the best way to get your old white plastic parts looking new again or at least better? I was thinking about a 90% water 10% bleach soak. Is this a bad idea? Also will putting the parts in semi boiling...

Thanks for the info on Super Clean. I went looking for some today, didn't find it. So I was going to get some Simple Green instead when I passed by the Soft Scrub products and found this....
Just received some White J Concepts Rulux wheels but they appear to be more of a pale blue grey colour is this normal. The other wheel is a JCRacing white for comparison

You don't *need to do anything to run the front B4 wheels, although the offset is more inboard than the old 2.0/2.1 wheels. If that bothers you, you can run GT front axles which are wider and correct the offset.
