Losi GTX

Here are a couple of photos of my GTX that I've owned since new. I've had this one since about 1996, and stored in my basement about 1997. Two years ago I brought it out to sell with my RC10T nitro conversion, but decided to restore it instead.

Originally a bushing truck, I upgraded to bearings shortly after getting it, along with MIP CVD's and clutch. I also got the MIP stinger pipe when the silicone header tore open. I polished it because the purple anodizing was faded. I rebuilt the truck over the last two winters, including the shocks and the diff. Instead of the Dynamite TNT engine(which I'm planning on rebuilding as well) that came with the truck, I put in a Traxxas Pro 15. A friend of mine had a Traxxas Nitro Rustler at the time, which had this engine. My TNT didn't stand a chance against it and I always wanted to put a 15 in my GTX. The engine is broken in now and I've run it a few times. It is quick for an old truck. Sharp eyes may note the Associated receiver box and Reedy battery... :)

Are there any other GTX/NXT owners out there?

Really like the design of the GTX and NXT!
This is my funky looking GTX!
Came from Austria in good condition with some Hop-Ups and unfortunately a seized engine.
Cleaned it up and unseized the little HPI Nitro Star.
Been looking for an original style GTX body for quite a while now.
They seem to be super rare…

Is there a chance you‘ve still got one of those NIP bodies almost fifteen years later?
