Twin Detonator's rides

Here are few pics of me and my 5 yo boy's rides.
My boys first R/C cars at 4 years old... Ignore the goofy smile....

I no longer have the Redcat Ground Pounder.

Here are our new rides that we go bashing with.
Tamiya Twin Detonator, Tamiya Blackfoot Extreme.

Both have full ball bearings, oil shocks, and aluminum A arms from RC Damper on eBay.
Mine has 2 Tamyia sport tuned black can motors and a Tamiya dual motor ESC.
A pic of all three.

The AE B4.1 is an all stock brushed car.
For being only 5 years old the boy does a great job at driving his BFX, he is fearless and takes on driving challenges and obstacles like a pro. One time when he ran out of his 2nd pack and I gave him one of my 3200 NIMH packs, he has 1800 and 2000 NIMH packs, so when he hit the trigger for the first time the truck was all over the place because of the new power it had. He quickly got her under control and now he wants to use my "faster" batteries. The kid is such a speed junkie!! Come spring I'll get him some bigger batteries.
He has driven his BFX so hard I had to update the arms and shocks because he broke the shocks. I also ended up nut and bolting most of the suspension because the screws kept coming out of the plastic.
