I say leave it. There are plenty of built RC10s out there to be had.

Depends on what you want it for. Is it an investment? Hoping to sell it for more than you paid in the future? If so, put it away as it is. It will be more valuable down the road when you need to part with it.
Is is a keepsake? Memories from the past? Have one like it as a kid and you want to display it on a shelf? Build it, and show it off proudly. It's an iconic R/C car of the past and was manufactured to be built into a car.
Personally, I like them built as they should have been back in the day, even if they are only for display. If I wanted investments, I'd have bought real gold and not gold anodizing.

Much better ROI.

Always a tough question.
My Dad and I got RC-10s together and spent the day on our screened in porch assembling them together.
Over 20 years later I rebuilt a used stock RC-10 from e-bay using the manual and it brought back memories of that day. So if that is why you bought it, I say build it, but I would never run it. That is what 50-70 runnners are for

I say definitely build it. How much enjoyment do you really get looking a box of unopened parts. Build that sucker and put it on display.

When a part breaks, you just pull another runner out of the pile

Tired of these kind of questions. Run it or not, Build it or not, Open SNIB kit or not.

Just sayin'.
I need coffee.. Hmmm.. Black or with milk? What do you guys think?

I think if the milk is NIB you should go black, but if the seal is already broken on the milk carton add some milk. If you find the milk is yellow, add some peroxide to it and leave it in the sun for a while. But do not drill holes in your cup to loose weight, unless it has a C stamp on it.
