I don't know how familiar you are with any electronics, but I would think you know how to hook up servos and speed controllers to a receiver, correct?

the speed controllers are simple, either red is battery, and one goes to the motor(same connection, doesn't matter which is which). black is battery negative, and blue goes to the motor(negative). the radio connector is hooked up, and then you have the power switch. Some speed controllers have a couple of additional wires for disabling the BEC, or for the number of cells you are running. check the manuals for each one that has this, and it will tell you how to connect(or disconnect) them.

the tekin looks like someone totally removed the red and black wires, and hopefully the Printed circuit board is not damaged. that can be fixed by anyone that can solder well.

the servos have the additional FET booster, and that single blue wire goes directly to the battery power (+) either as it is, or through a small inductor, which info is available for here on this site. I probably have replied to that thread as well, so take a search and see if you can find info on 'fet boosted servo'.

the chargers I couldn't help you with other than they get power in, and provide power out to the battery. best bet is to see if you can find the manuals online, or they should be pretty self explanatory as is.

the motor dresser I can't help with at all....same deal...maybe you can find the manual?

start there and let us know how you make out!

agreed, that's one of those things on my list of cool vintage stuff to eventually add to the collection.

If you reverse the motor polarity on that thing, will it also function as a cross-dresser?

Cool haul of vintage electrics!

It might be worth posting a similar question on the Oople forum in their vintage section... both the Tekomo Pro-Slope charger & Shinwa motor dresser were very popular top-end items in the UK back in the day - I can remember using the motor dresser - but for the life of me I cannot remember how :( ..... problem is with LiPo (& even Nimh) cells & brushless motors, both items are pretty much just museum peices :|

I presume you know the Gold item is a 12v car battery charger? My dad had the very same one - it was usefull for him as it would also charge 6v batteries for his motorbikes & 65' VW beetle.

I also have one of those Shinwa motor dressers. I got in a lot of vintage stuff I picked up off Craigslist a couple years ago. I would love to see some directions or more info on it if anyone can dig something up. :D
