Truck Project Ideas....

I've been going through my stash of spare parts I have, and after I get my 10T restored, I was thinking of an idea. I want to build something to have fun at the vintage races (VONATS, or any other future gatherings that may generate here) I have another 10T pan that I'd like to strip, weld up the excess holes, do some "worlds" pan type milling to, trim it down a little, maybe some custom fab work as well. I'd also like to have it hard anno'd blue, carbon shock towers, new adjustable shocks, and fit new wheels/tires so I dont use up a lot of the older parts. For the suspension, I want to use as many RPM parts as possible, and for the trans, I'd like to use the rpm stealth conversion, but will a B4/T4 slipper setup work with this? Has anybody else done all of this already? Just an idea..

A B4 top shaft/slipper set up will work. I picked up a couple of full slipper set ups and a couple of top shafts on eBay. Works fantastic.

Maybe I'll just have to do it to a T2 now.....

Yeah, I've decided to do the same things in my first post, but apply it to the T2. I now have several of these, and as much as I liked driving the 10T, when the T2 came out, it did handle better. Putting a little updating to the chassis will be fun!

FWIW, the T2 had the exact same suspension and steering geometry as the 10T.
