what are you guys with TRX1/3 using for springs?

I have a Blue Eagle that was a basket case that I put back together pretty cheaply. Someone clipped the front springs so they don't sit nicely, plus I don't think they are the right diameter.
those guys actually using trx1/3 cars, are you using traxxas springs? what are you doing for tuning? I believe losi spings fit, but I want to make sure before I try and waste money buying springs. Associated are too small in diameter I believe.
the new 'big bore' traxxas stuff is too big, I already wasted money on those. It looks pretty hard to find the older style springs for the shocks, the hard anodized or blue ones, the Blue eagle uses the same size as the trx1 rear all around I think.
