RC-10T and RC-10GT - A Stuppid Question !!!

I have an extra gold pan frame that I picked up last year for the parts, the person flat tracked raced the car - so he drilled holes all over the frame (he did it with a hand drill - Real Shi**y Job) So I picked up another frame for $15.00 off craigslist to finish my RC-10 buggie. Any way long story short can I use the frame for a RC-10T?? Looks like I will need the longer nose and wider A-arms all the way around, different shock towers etc.

Thanks for the help
Craig

They are all pretty much the same. I just spent the last hour and a half doing side by side comparisons of the exploded parts pix on the AE site. Man my eyes hurt, I'm turning off the computer now.

Let's start over, the Rc10t and Rc10GT share-

1) Complete Shocks
2) Front shock tower, Front Arms, Front Bulkhead, Castor blocks, steering arms and Axles
3) Front Nose piece
4) All hinge pins, bearings and tie rods as well
5) Rear arms, and rear hubs
6) Universals or dogbones ( but the GT was 3/16 not 1/4 like the 10t )
7) wheels and tires
9) Front and rear body mounts.

All other parts such as steering, rear arm carriers, rear bulkhead and tower, chassis, body etc are all non interchangeable-

Oddball chassis and you can only run gas motors for a short time and then let cool. With electric just a short cool down and swap batteries. Simplicity and cheaper in the long run I think. :D

You don't need to let them cool down between runs, you can run them all day non-stop without ever shutting the engine down. Odd-ball chassis? Well... just a chassis designed specifically for that truck.

I think they are cheaper just because most people don't think of them as collectible, therefore the are just old used trucks that are a dime a dozen. Which is fine by me. :D

Right-on except that the very early team trucks, and the sport trucks up until the first flat chassis RTR trucks came out, had 1/4" axles.
