I have a reedy tri sonic motor. Red can with a B sticker on it. I took it apart and there is a 41 written on the armature. Does anyone have any info on this? Also is it possible to short a motor? I was bashing last week and my capacitor that goes from + to - touched the ground leg. I think. Now if it turns it turns slow then stops also won't go in reverse. Hooked up another motor to the sped control and it spins fast, forward and reverse.

Reedy Tri Sonic B is a 15 triple, it's listed as an onroad motor. PM me for a copy of the PDF file, I'll email it to you.
It's possible that a few of the windings have shorted but that would have to have been a hefty jolt. Have you resoldered the capacitors to their proper locations?

Installed new capacitors. Maybe I will try another set. The fizzled motor is on my b4. The reedy motor I bought years ago and was running it in a ayk radiant with truck tires. So wrong application all the way around. I remember I brought the car with me to the hobby store and the dude still sold me the wrong motor. I just pulled the reedy out of the radiant today to see if if I could use it in my b4. So I guess I will save my pennies and go brushless. Thanks for the I.d.
