I'm just a little lost. I have this old white stealth transmission that came with a used buggy. I wanted to try and use it on a DS but it did not feel right. So I decided to take it apart and rebuild it by just cleaning everything and greasing the parts.

The two different size bearings will not work. And, yes, that does look like a leftover part of a old bearing rather than a shim.
