There is a thread screw hole on the front surface of the C-hub. Any idea what that was for??

I 'm guessing it might be parts for an optima actually. They are interchangeable

you are right Erik........:)

the C-hubs of 870c & optima are 95% similar........the only difference is that the optima one got a caster angle........while 870c got zero caster........:)

spare parts interchangeability is one of the beauties of vintage Japanese buggies......... 8) .......another word ...... they were copying each other.........

the thread screw hole on the front surface........is for anchoring the front shock end in optima series............as you know........optima's front shock ends were fixed to the C-hubs instead of the arms.........:)

Did anyone ever identify the C-hub manufacturer, looks like a really cool hop-up?
