Stealth transmission hole template

Can anyone use a stealth hole template (original, used only once)? I have enough stealth-ready tubs. It would be nice if someone could reproduce it for other forum members.

I can't remember what these look like off hand.... Can you post a pic? If its what I think it is, I may be able to have these reproduced on a waterjet machine..

Sorry, no camera, but it is a small, maybe 2"x1.5" or so, steel plate and has four holes to bolt up to the rear arm mount holes with four guide holes for the stealth.

Does anyone have one they can scan? I'm going to pop a few out in a vinyl decal that can be applied for a template to drill from. Simple and easy, but using the OEM template would be a big help.

I could use one as well. Though I hate to drill an 'A' Chassis. If only we had a plate that would mount stealth, then mount the whole plate to the original chassis.

I was thinking the same thing. I figured it wouldn't be too hard to use something like a piece of extra plastic or aluminum, cut it to size, then drill holes in that.

But I just ordered a B stamp chassis instead cause I'm too lazy, lol

I made one of these (real rough from a piece of nylon without a tranny template) for TQ10 chassis that i didn't want to drill - worked really well though it creates havoc with the dogbones - raising the tranny (the "shim" has to be thick enough to support the tranny screws - mine was 1/8" 1/16" thick? I never measured) lengthens the distance from wheel hub to outdrives and therefore bumps would knock the dogbones out. CVDs solved that problem (unless you raise it really high) and I ran it a long time that way.

I have an original metal stealth hole drill template. If I get time I'll just draw it up in CAD complete with dimensions and I'll post it here so everyone can see it, print it, copy it, build a new one off of it, etc... Give me some time though. I'm about to switch jobs so time is short.

Just print 1:1 and drill to your heart's content.
