Picked this up on ebay. Car came 100% complete and in excellent shape.I installed the new motor plate and blue front shocks that came with the car. So far I filled two unwanted holes in the chassis with JB weld , Dyed the front body mount and front battery holder black. I also added some rims from JC racing for the 2.2 tires. Still waiting for the wing mounts from ukmodlesport. I have a tbg body and wing for it just have to cut and paint it.

I actually sold a bunch of parts from that car a few months ago in the BST, I found some more in a box and that's what I included with the trx1. good price for the buyer, it hurt a little bit being the seller on that one, but at least it went to a good home.

Really good looking build, which shock springs have you used more the front ones?
Will the car be run? just interested how it will handle with the trx3 castor uprights on!

I didn't know these JC wheels existed for the traxxas cars.
Which bearings do they use upfront; the standard metric ones? And in the back: do they use a hex adapter or do they have the pin cut-out?

They use 5x11 bearings in front and pin drive in the rear. I don't know much about the traxxas cars. JC wheels has them on ebay listed as vintage bandit wheels.

Damn, NIB TRX-1, wish I was so lucky!

Thanks for the link. Do you consider the quality of the wheels to be good?

Not much going on with this project. I have been busy at work finally. :D . Cut out the TBG body and painted the wing white with green pearl . Replaced the front body mount and C hubs with new white parts . When I get time I will paint the body.
