RC10T body ?

Post by rctenracer »

This body came with a RC10T that I picked up from cline hoobbies. Any info on who made it ? Are they still availible? Its has seen better days but I like the looks of it. No cracks in it I so I might try the brake fuild to remove the paint and see if I can do anything with it. Also any tips on removing paint would be great.

Brake fluid with mess up the body and turn it milky looking. I've had good results stripping paint with Nitro fuel. just use a soft brush dipped in the nitro fuel to gently scrub the paint off.

That is the Dahm's Slammer Body. I used this body back in the mid nineties. I still get compliments on it today as it is much different than the bodies of today. I believe they also made a Slammer XL with an "extended cab" window, etc.
