I took my b4 out to a local track today.Never driven on a track before. It was fun as hell.I was on the track set up for 1/10 it was fun but tight.Throttle/brake/throttle/brake. Then I waited for the one guy on the 1/8 track to leave.Hopped on the big track and OMG the b4 flew, full throttle in the straight to banked left hard right and over a set of duals. It was beatiful.I'm only running 3000 nimh and they lasted longer on the big track.I went through two packs and then on the third I gunned it for the tabletop came down squirrely over corrected and did about hundered cartwheels.went down the other of the hill to fetch the car and there it sat limp left front arm.snapped right at the inner pin mounts.I had rolled just like this about three times before this and nothing. How come RPM doesn't make arms for the b4.I want blue RPM arms for my b4.But anyway gotta go to the lhs this week get some more stock arms and get my losi xx going so my buddy has something to mess with.I'll post pix of the track and damage tomorrow.Man that was fun!

congrats on taking your addiction to the next leverl Matt

Personal opinion is that rpm can't make an arm small enuf for the b4. The thing has little to no meat at all in the area that it broke...I'm guessing of course from the tens of broken arms I've been thru on my b4s. If you run where there is a corrugated tube and get next to it...bam! automatic broken front arms  . I picked up an aluminum set from a member here an put them on a b4 and bingo...no more broken arms. Now it breakes bulkheads and c-hubs and spindles and bends pins :? They look cool though

But back to the congrats. The rush is there. you get a few buggies out there with like experienced drivers and its a blast. Run with a couple better guys and you get better if you can take getting beat as a learning experience without gettting all bummed about it. Well anyway...feed that new hunger!

Amen!
playing with rc cars in the back yard or open lot is fun, BUT NOTHING truely as fun as RACING! there is something about running on a track and especially in competition with other similar cars. win or lose it's the best rc experience!
keep hitting the track and have fun!
