What bumper for Yokomo 834B Delta Chassis?
I just got hold of a bunch of Delta parts for an 834B conversion... now the holes for the bumper doesn't fit the standard RPS bumper.
Anyone have any idea what bumper might fit the chassis?

Re: What bumper for Yokomo 834B Delta Chassis?
Hey guys, will snap some pics later. Managed to get my hands on NIP chassis, 3-piece rear cage, rear-arm stiffeners and a roll bar.
Trying to put it all together but I'm wondering what bumper goes on in front (I just picked up a cheap RPM 870 bumper which I'll try to graft on) and also how a wing mounts to the chassis...
Been looking around but haven't seen a completed Delta 834B? Still searching.

Another member has a Delta 834b Desert version, maybe yours is similar?

Re: What bumper for Yokomo 834B Delta Chassis?
Here are some pics of the delta parts.

Thanks for the link to the other Delta project... that's the one I've been looking at as a reference.
Forgive the ignorance but in the thread he's mentioned "Desert" dog. Was all this aimed at a specific conversion? If so, anyone know what a Desert conversion was supposed to look like?

Did you see the other pictures in that link? Doug's is pretty far along, if your looking for a completed body on car I'm not sure there are any survivors but there might be and I just haven't seen them. I have scans of the 2 page instruction sheet but there is no pictures just drawings of how it goes together just like Doug's car.

Some scans might be cool if you have them. The parts came without any instructions and although putting it together isn't rocket science, it'd be great to see how they were meant to go together "exactly".a01butal wrote:Did you see the other pictures in that link? I think they were originally pictured on RC10Talk in another thread but I have them saved so here you go. This is all I have:

Re: What bumper for Yokomo 834B Delta Chassis?
Cool! That really helps.
Some pics of the work in progress. The car has been sitting on my worktable for a month in pieces... really need the space so it motivated me to put it back together. lol.

I noticed that when I spaced the rear trailing arms in the middle of the aluminum supports the driveshafts would bind a little during the suspension stroke so I spaced them outwards instead for a slightly wider stance.
Gonna get some 2mm piano wire for a wing mount, then work on some way to mount a body.
Noticed a small crack in the gearbox... anyone have a spare to sell?

I'm wondering the same thing about the body myself. My regular 834C shell and RPS shell don't fit.
Any idea what body fit on this conversion?

I found this on Time Tunnel, looks like he somehow made the standard 834b body to work.
