So I am watching F1 Montreal on FOX, I regularly watch F1 and NASCAR- and the announcers are telling the viewers how the GP cars are similar and different to Sprint Cup cars etc. While they are only trying to keep viewers that they lose during the programming switch,

I want to know--who the hell is the gear head that does not know what a GP car is, and what the differences are? Everyone that will watch one form of racing, knows about the other types--seems like an insult to me

It's FOX.

Regardless of the sport it is broadcasting, it's completely dumbed down to the lowest common denominator. They also assume anyone watching on FOX is new to all racing, a complete 'tard and needs everything spoon-fed to them.

Because THIS is your average nascar fan before they start drinking!

I'm more upset with the fact that FOX chose to air the identical world feed that SPEED uses in standard def on their HD feed.
