Have a question, Is it possible that a box that has the Edinger address, appliqued decals on the ends(kit 6*** less radio and batteries),and a darker gold pan "A" stamp. The spring retainers are not edge, battery strap is missing, after market steering bell-crank,Did not yet tear down gear box to see if it is a real Edinger,or Cadiliac. My only clue is the diamond wing buttons.I would hate to restore a car that is not correct.I do have to say that the box is in great shape for its age!

Diamond wing buttons were made by kimbrough, and available aftermarket- as for the pan color, there are many variations to them as the runs went on, not to mention the possibility of the pan being replaced at one point. Pics are the best thing to aid in identification

It would seem Associated Electrics operated out of both the Caddilac & the Edinger addresses for a while, I too have a Edinger addressed box... but the spec of the car would suggest that it is an early Caddilac car.... so it would seem that there is some cross-over - it might be that they were using up old boxes or took a while to update the artwork after they had moved.

P.S; please post up some pictures of your car - we'd love to see it
