Thanks for re-posting! I recently bought an ultra molded 10T that I'm making my "Project Brushless" runner. I had the finished car in my head and then found your original post. This was nearly IDENTICAL to what I want to do!! It's a complete original white car, but I wanted to replace any possible items RPM still makes in their blue color. About the only thing different from yours I wanted to do was keep the front body mount brace an original 10T white peice and I'm adding the blue ano'd shock caps...

Will that RPM battery tray fit a hard cased 7.4v LIPO?

If you look very closely at the pictures, you can see the Trakpower Gold Lipo, I had to grind the lip in the chassis in order for it to sit flat on the chassis.

The battery lid fits perfectly over it.

So, is that just a B3/T3 RPM gear cover held on with one screw? Any issues with it rubbing on the outdrive?

It looks to have enough clearance...

I got my Proline T3 Dodge Ram body for it, I need to throw some paint in it, trim and mount that bad boy...
