Houge steering help

Hey guys - The RC10 I recently obtained has a houge steering bellcrank. It appears that the original owner installed it incorrectly. What order do the mounting parts go from bottom to top? Or should there be a washer there? It looks like he should have but one of the plastic nuts on the bottom as the shanks from the ball ends wound up scraping the nose plate. Either that or he really over tightened like a madman.

Use a thick enuff washer on the screw coming up through the chassis then place everything else on it and check to see if anything drags on the chassis if does add another washer or one a bit thicker.Or small washers under the ballstuds to pull the threaded end up away.Much easier to do the ones from mounting the chassis steering screws.Don

the collared plastic nut, the one that the bearings ride on, goes on first with the nut against the chassis. then bearing, bellcrank, bearing, and the plastic nut on top.

if the threaded ends of the ball studs hit the chassis, just grind them off flush with the bottom of the bellcrank. it's not like they need to be there.
