Just wondered if the JRXT like the one below is has the LWB chassis? (A la Proformance JRX2 kit & the Pro)
Or is it short wheel base but with different shaped sides??

If You mean "short" version is jrx2 chassis, then this seems to be the long version from jrxpro or from Proformance kit.
You can compare it to here:

Ah - maybe I wasn't making myself clear... the picture in my post is of a genuine JRXT (I believe)
I am desperate to find a good SWB chassis as I have enough spares now to build myself a complete JRX2 buggy from new parts.... except the chassis
Thing is, if the JRXT has the same length chassis as the JRX2 (but slightly different shape to the sides) It widens my scope as to what to look for - especially as the truck chassis' seem to escape with less damage due to running at higher ride height
For me that Pro chassis in the link seems to look longer (space between battery cup & steering arms seems less??..... though maybe not

)

the jrxt chassis is longer and also has a 30 degree front kickup, where the x2's kickup is 20.

Ok!
Jrx2 has a shorter chassis, the shape is different on sides like You said and also the front kickup is only 20-degrees.
JrxPro and JrxT has identical longer chassis and 30-degree front kickup. To their longer chassis You could for example install "flat" 7-cell battery pack between steering servo and rear bulkhead. There are lot of good Jrx2 and JrxPro & JrxT pics on this Losi forums first page.

Cool info guys... thanks
Unfortunately I guess, it doesn't help my search for a decent shape chassis for my X2
Looks like I shall continue with my plans on getting one made from Fibrelite
