The Novus stuff works. Ignore the nonsense about sanding, or else you'd need a LOT of stickers!

I second the Novus products...they just about work miracles.

Especially for the "shop wear" type scratches or that dulling with time that happens with handling a dusty shell. For the deeper gouges related to running impacts, probably SOL.

Cedric, I have a NIP ( not B2 Sport ) one going to Jay soon for re-pop ( since they seem to be so hard to get )

otherwise a light abrasive like polishing compound, or per-wax cleaner can help a bunch- or plastic lense polish

In a pinch, toothpaste works as a heavy scratch remover and Pearl Drops for finer scratches. ;) Once you use the Novus system though, you won't need anything else. I use it after clear coating models for the final rub and polish, and it can't be beat.

By the way, when using any of these polishes out there for plastics, be sure to use a microfiber or clean terry towel to apply. In many situations, the rag you use can take scratches out but add them right back in as you work the polish. Clean, free of debris and lint, and if you can don't wash them with fabric softener (it leaves a residue in the towel that streaks).
