AYK VIPER / SHUTTLE REBUILD
Well I finally got a little time to get started on the shuttle I recently purchased from ebay a while back. I broke down the shuttle and cleaned all parts sofar the shuttle is sporting a new chassis, new trannies, new body, and new tires and wheels the only thing left I need to find is a front bumper but most likely I will just make a new one. I started re assembly and I will add more pics as as the build persists

Re: AYK VIPER / SHUTTLE REBUILD
This is going to be an awesome build here. I plan to keep a close eye on this thread. Something about the old vintage AYK and Cox Scorpion cars that make me want to build one.
This is a very rare car and looks like you found a very nice one.
Can't wait to see its' progress.

Re: AYK VIPER / SHUTTLE REBUILD
They are they coolest. The Scorpion was a real "race car" before the advent of the RC10. A guy who owns a track in Indiana has a ton of early 80's magazines. I was lucky enough to check out some old RC magazine coverage of the first ROAR off road nats in 84, among others. Jim Dieter (!) put a Scorpion in the main for 2WDRuffy wrote: I plan to keep a close eye on this thread. Something about the old vintage AYK and Cox Scorpion cars that make me want to build one.
