Dynotech a-arms

What advantage is there to changing over to the Dynotech a-arms? Does it increase the front and rear width to match the current crop of 2wd buggies on the market today or does it just make it simpler to run B4 2.2 rims/tires? I've been looking at the "what was old is new" thread and rather than run the AE wider front arms they all changed to the narrower front truck nose plate and Dynotech arms. My main reason for asking is that I want update one of my graphite chassis cars and for obvious reasons I cant "narrow" up the front to use the DT arms. What are the fr/rr track dimensions of the stock CE RC10 vs. the Dynotech updated ones?

My Whats Old is new measurements.
Front: 9 1/2"
Rear: 9 5/8"
WheelBase: 11"
Sorry, I don't have any stock RC-10 measurements handy.

what are the "obvious reasons" that you can't narrow up a graphite rc10 chassis to 10t specs? all you have to do is mimic a 10t nose plate. cut it down, and drill 4 new holes.

I should not have said "obvious" based on some of the custom creations I've seen on here

A better term would have been, I dont want to chop up one of my graphite chassis'
soniccj5, I just checked one of mine and it measured
Front: 9 1/2
Rear: 9 1/2
WB: 11"
If the track width and wheelbase are the same what is the reason for running the Dynotech arms? The stock AE arms and RPM arms are still available. Does the handling change dramaticly with the narrow/wide front end?

the offset of the b4 wheels is a lot different than the rc10 wheels. the b4 wheels are inset a good deal more. the wider arms help make up for the width difference that the newer style wheels would cause.

well first thing, if you were to use the dynotech arms on a standard buggy nose plate, you'd be wider than max roar width by over a 1/2". a 10t noseplate is like an inch narrower, and will bring you back inside legal width. not to mention, they're designed to fit the 10t/gt front bulkhead. not the rc10 arm mounts.
