I remember reading from an earlier posting here that someone colored the aluminium side plates on a Mugen bulldog using dye alone (without anodising).

Anyone here know the exact formula to get that done right??

if you could get the liquid dye to stick would be the ticket. I don't think it would be that durable. I have read about home annodizig that uses 5 gallon buckets and a car battery for the power source.

Can anyone share more about home anodizing??
