I think it's a TQ10 body.

Edit, stole this pic from member emerson_shih. The body is a sidewinder made for the TQ10.

Yes, "Sidewinder" is what I've heard it called - I'm not sure who made it?
If it was in-fact for the TQ10, would it have been made by Horizon Hobbies???

it was made by associated, as was the tq10. it was just distributed through horizon.

I've got my new R6 dialed. But, I'd love to polish the black chassis and pod to silver. Should I be weary of introducing tweak? Also, are there quick ways to remove the black and blue anno from the parts?

Anodizing can be removed with Easy-Off oven cleaner (the heavy duty stuff with the yellow cap). Spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes, then brush off with a toothbrush. Cheap ano comes off very fast & easy, but good-quality ano might need a...

We don't run bare floors here, no idea why, I think hall owners are scared of potential damage.

Hey all,

I got tired of saying to myself This chassis is too nice to run ... With that, I traced out a few chassis', and wallah! This material is thin flexible, printable lexan, with 1 smooth side, and the other lightly textured for rugged use....

I just finished polishing my rc10 pan...

Maybe someone who also did this could help me out...

Does the aluminum tarnish over time or does it stay fresh and shiny ?

Would a clear coat help?

clear ano would last a lot longer.

As someone who used to hand polish all the aluminum trim on a vehicle including a diamond plate toolbox. my recommendation is gonna be mothers mag and aluminum polish. I works for most soft metals. I would not use...

All the polished shape ways parts I have received in the past months has a sandblast finish to them. Did the shapeways polished parts always have this rough surface to them? What's the easiest way to get them to have a smooth polished surface? I...

If the part is flat where you want it to be polished, use a whet stone.

Something higher than 800 or 1000 grit to polish it and in a few minutes you will be as smoooooth as Rod's butt! :shock:
