Hello All ,
I'm very new to the forum . Ive been soaking in as much info as possible . It's great ! well long story short I'm 35 got bit by the RC bug again after owning a hornet and then later ('in 89 ) a losi JRX2 when I was a kid . In the past few weeks Ive had a couple newer losi vehicles that caused nothing but havoc for me , so I went searching for a buggy like I used to have bitd . I acquired this runner yesterday and have been having a blast since . If anybody can shed some light as to what model etc I have that would be most excellent . look forward to learning from you all . thanks in advance

Nice runner. It's a 6-gear transmission, short front a-arm RC10... probably a "Cadillac" model circa 1985-1987. It will likely have an "A" stamped into the chassis near the back. It's missing the front sway bar (but has the ball ends on the arms), has different springs, obviously not original tires/wheels, and a mismatched black front nose tube. They're still very capable rigs-- have fun and welcome to rc10talk!

awesome ! . that's what I was looking for .. now if I can just get some knobbies and a better battery than the ancient ones that came with it , I'll be loving life . Thank You civilguy -

I'd say possibly late Edinger location car. Rear shock tower only has only one mounting hole, long wing tubes. Check the bottom spring retainers. Probably no slot for easy spring swaps and probably white idler gears in the transmission. That looks like a good runner.

Greene- very well could be. In the head-on shot I thought I saw a slot on the righthand spring cup, but on second glance it looks like a shadow. Based on that I ignored the rear tower as maybe an Edinger replacement part. My Cadillac had white idlers.
