Well trolling eBay, I found this for $50.00

I went ahead and jumped on it. How do you think I did? I am certain it is a Worlds Car. That pink is awful

From what I can see the chassis looks like it along with some of the other parts I can see. Just dye the parts black and it would look pretty darn nice. Looks like it was a good buy.

whats the bottom of the chassis like? have you removed the clear film?

I have not got the car yet. I took a gamble without seeing the bottom of the chassis. Will post an update when the car arrives.

At that price its a risk worth taking..... everything to me looks like it tallys with being a Worlds car (shock towers etc)

Will be a fun project - show us more pictures when you get it

I got the car today and I have to say I think I made out on the deal. The chassis looks to be unused and has no scratches other than some really minor stuff on the rear. All the arms, nylon, shock towers are free from any gouges, look brand new. The nose plate and motor plate have never had any screws in them. Even the scrws I got are perfect and look brand new as well. Too bad the guy couldn't find any of the other parts. At least I got the hard to find stuff out of the way. I also need to get with CDS about the pink parts

I will snap some pics tonight, I am trying to strip the old protective film off the bottom of the chassis.

My god that clear film on the bottom of the chassis was a pain to remove. Well as originally thought the chassis is unused, and is pretty much mint. There are a few scratches on the back but pretty minor. Overall the chassis is in great shape along with the nose plate.

Here are some pics of the the important stuff. I still have a bag of stuff for the car as well.

Question, I would assume these cars came with CVDs and not ujoints. Can any of you enlighten me if the bones in the rear hubs are what came with the car.

I am willing to bet this was a project that someone lost interest on and never got around to building the car. Who knows what happened to the rest of the tranny parts, shocks, wheels and tires. These are easliy found so I should end up with a pretty nice shelfer in the end.

No need to run this one, plus my wife would kill me if I had another car o add electronics to.

Wow, You got one good looking chassis there. looks like all they did was dye the white parts pink then put it on a shelf. I saw that one but didn't want to take the risk You got you $$ woth for sure. Great score!
