Hey, looking good corkyjohnson75! I trust you are in the UK (DMS sticker on the Yoke ;) ) Looks kinda similar to my RC10 runner build... where abouts are you planning to race/run it?

P.S; please turn off the CAPS-LOCK - it always feels like someones shouting the info at you when its written in capital letters - sorry just a personal gripe :D

Cool - I'm in the UK too...... does the Robin Hood raceway falls into the Mid East region? I used to race in that region many years ago. Will be cool to run your RC10 against the modern cars, i'm hoping to run my car at Hinkley - they have a vintage class, but i'm tempted to race in modified, think i'd get frustrated with the lack of speed with the 'silver can' motors thats required for vintage :D

I've got no idea on set-up either, so its going to be a case of trial an error I guess

York Off-Road Car Club in conjunction with the Helliwell family of Moat Farm have totally revamped the former Worksop Radio Car Club site to the new ROBIN HOOD RACEWAY!

The track is located at Blyth, North Notinghamshire and is an all-weather astroturf track with a good variety of features and a very variable layout. There is also a modern race control and toilet blocks, a large flat area for parking, pitting and with camping/caravan facilities including mains water (and limited electricity) etc.

Wow! Thats a pretty extreme track with all those jumps & ramped corners, certainly more so than the tracks I used to race when I was last into off-road. Is this the track thats sort of behind a farm & near Worksop/Retford? (not really near to York at all :D ) - I have raced there a few times, back when it was mostly a grass track, think the last time was for a national - IIRC it was televised for SKY TV :)

Think I spotted Mr McGee in that film
