I'm thinking you can scrub it really good, sand it down with say something like 400-600 grit, then put a thin layer of crystal clear epoxy on it, let that harden, then sand it flat with some very fine paper, 1500 or so....

Personally I'd just get a new body with belly-pan from mr-lexan. With a belly-pan painted from the inside no one will be able to tell anyomore the chassis is scratched.
I have a spare chassis but am reluctant to let go of it , sorry

The hot dog body does have some minor differences when compared to the Protech IV, but for the most part it's the same. Yokomo and minor differences, I don't get it.

Main difference are the two little bumps on the front to accommodate the screws for the top deck.
