Pactra Flip Flop
I was rooting around Ultimate Hobbies yesterday and found a can of Pactra paint that flips colors. They've probably been around for a while but this is the first time I've seen them. Anyways, so i got a can to try out but of course they don't have the special black backing paint. My question is, can I use regular Pactra outlaw black?

Re: Pactra Flip Flop
from testors website:
Pactra's vibrant new R/C lacquer is sure to impress! Backing Black is the specially formulated backing coat for the 2-part metallic and flip-flop systems that will make your color pop. Note: Different formulation than RC250 Outlaw Black; Outlaw Black WILL dissolve flip-flop colors.

Where the heck was that? I checked their website before I posted just so I wouldn't look silly. LOL!

Re: Pactra Flip Flop
I have had several bad experiences with old pactra paint cans. It appears they leak gas. Because of the lower pressure they then sputter rather than produce a fine spray. Make sure you try the can before getting near the lexan
