In the process of restoring my optima mid to runner status. The servo saver/bellcrank is horribly worn. I can't find a stock replacement, any recomendations?

You should be able to use the one from the ultima series. You can also use an A&L style bell crank. You just need to use the appropriate spacers to get the correct height. Here's a picture of the one I put on a lazer:

Kyosho also made a couple of Uni-crank servo savers that will work. You can add 5mm x 8mm bearings to these for all out ball bearing steering. The one on the right may still be available. Hope this helps! :D

The blue version is a rigid crank with no saver function and is kyosho generic, but tends to be found more on gas cars like the GP10, Super 10 and Pure 10. It's designed to be mostly universal with the horn reversible and can be configured for most 1/10 Kyosho cars with a similar steering setup. The output holes may need re-drilling for your application though as I think they are 2mm. It's primarily designed for a ball raced aluminium steering rack so the arms may be a little thicker.

I use them with no modifications at all on my Lazer ZX and Optima Mid cars. Most of my cars have the Kimbrough servo saver attached to the servo directly.
