Nice one! Viper is one of the toughest looking buggies of all time!
Those pics remind me of Inet R/C's pics - is that from him?
I am really happy that there are more Viper lovers/owners out there.
Glad that patience faid off.
cheers
Darryn

Actually Alex is who I bought it from by sheer luck I emailed him and asked if he had any vipers hanging around and luckily he did. So thankyou, Alex

Well done! If there's one stupid thing I ever live to regret it was selling my new built MINT Viper which also had the very rare Shuttle bodyset and box. It almost makes me want to cry every time I think about it.

Would you believe I bought everything in that pic for $450usd!!! Looking back it was a STEAL!
Sold it for $750usd about a year or so later.
Talk about DUMB!

Re: THE SEARCH IS OVER!!!!!! AYK VIPER
Inet got a bit over-enthusiastic and added an extra frame cross member piece beneath the front number plate...
PS I'm currently daring anyone to go a non-black Viper frame.
PPS I wonder why suspension/shocks attached by a single screw attached to the radio tray held on to the chassis with 2mm screws never caught on? (I'm pretty confident a loaded Viper dropped from 1 foot would tear the radio tray clean from the chassis or thread the plastic mount) - (I'm not player hating - I actually rejoice in the stupidity/novelty/genius of the 80s but some moments do inspire 'what were you thinkin'?' - viper shock mounts are one of them)

Re: THE SEARCH IS OVER!!!!!! AYK VIPER
The reason I subconsciously am thinking of the shock mounts is...this one has them back to front...it is tall mounts in front, short in the back....the effect on handling would be...would be...don't know, but the feng shui is out of whack.
