Oldest RC10 Ever?

Here's a couple of photos I ran across from the 1984 IFMAR Worlds in Denmark. Gene and Roger from Associated brought a prototype of the RC10 to display at the race. I was so busy racing that I didn't pay much attention, but it looks like it's probably close to a production version, sporting a Curtis Husting paint job. I seem to remember that the car got lost or stolen at the event, I'm not sure if they ever found it.

You guys know more about these than I do, enjoy the pics!

Hard to tell from the pics but I bet its a one piece chassis.

In the Radio Race Car article it looks like it was a 2 piece chassis.

From the article it seems those superb shockers never developed.
