Not sure this is even possible but Im wanting to lock out the one way function on my 91 Dog Fighter layshaft. There is a one way bearing set up inside the spur hub which allows the front belt to run when off power. While I don't have a problem driving the car its the jumps that make it a problem. I can't get the front wheels to lock up under brakes while in the air which results in the nose sitting too high on my landings.
If some one knows of a way to deal with this issue or is there a replacement item available?

if the 91 is like the 870c, then you need the right hub adapter. You can use either a solid hex, or one that contains a one-way bearing.

look at page 10 and 11, they show you the two hubs available.

I think it would be possible to use a YR4 M11 setup. The YR4 setup uses a solid gear adapter similiar to a pavidis, it then uses a one way in the front pulley that allows the option for the user to remove a pin for one way or retain the pin for full time. You will need the layshaft, gear adapter and front pully.

You can also use the method as described by Jwscab, or perhaps use the alu front bulkhead for a bit more front end weight or indeed ballast weights.

Im grateful for your replies. I guess there is no way to lock up the one way hub that I have though is there? maybe suger glue? LOL!

Last season I was running with a one-way front belt and like bormac wanted to try my YZ10
with permanant 4wd.
I made a shaft and used 2 front pulley,s pinned to the shaft and also fitted a double slipper
setup off aa Associated car, works great and with better slipper adjustment.
The only slighty negative is the spurgear is a little further away from the from the motor
so the motor shaft is only about 1/3 inside the pinion

Sounds interesting. I have been thinking about using the MR4 BX slipper on my works (the drive pulley is pretty much the same a the old yoke slipper pulley) but I need someone to make me a shaft for me.

I know exactly the setup you have BORMAC yokomo part number zc-641g
got one of them on one of my dogfighters and a new in pack one lol
have a look at this ebay item number 200249456507
you'll need the yr4 centre shaft too really or if you have a spare can drill your own hole
glue wont work lol just turns it into rear wheel drive when the roller bearings gets stuck ( tried it years ago)

There is a way to mod it though
If you take the bearing out of the outer end not inner. and i know this may sound mad but trust me try it for size first
take a spare rear wing mount(aluminium bit rear wing wire goes into) this has a rounded side and a flat side.
you need to cut/turn 5mm off the flatside and drill the centre hole out to 4mm
this will now fit perfectly on the shaft and into the drive hub(the screw will line up with the flat on the shaft)
now you have to drill a hole to be tapped through the drive hub housing(where bearing was) and the wing mount preferebly opposite to the hole already in the mount.
tap the hole for a grub screw assemble and you now have permanent 4wd with the option to remove the new mount and put bearing back in
