They are newly built (Turbo optima mid SE, Turbo Optima and Optima) and restored (Ultima and Rockey) Kyosho vintage buggies.

Next project will be Lazer ZX if I can get the ZX body.

Thank you all, I'm collecting when I was a child in 80's.

They are detailed pictures of my optima. This authentic optima is displaying my father's library for calligraphy. The other optima for running is under construction.

Thank you Darryn, I'll assemblying some of Kyosho vintages and I'll post them up when they are finished.
For Korean RC kids in 80's, Kyosho cars is the dream (great performance but too expensive).

Hi cpebach...Awesome line detail on the Optima body. I have a few restorations in the works. Did you paint the black and blue pinstripe lines from the inside of the Optima body? Is it ok to "cheat" and use black pinstripe tape? I think I will need to go that route since I always have paint bleed issues when painting from the inside.

I have to say that I'm a sucker for your original Optima and Ultima, particularly the box-art paint job on the Optima - awesome!

Hi~ paint pinstripe line is very difficult to clean. My friend painted this body and he said that blue pinstripe is not cheat with tape but painted with air brush (not spray can) at 3~4 times interval sprayed at thin status to avoiding bleed problems.

Hi rcjunkie3000,

Sure, I'll post more restored and newly built Kyosho vintages sooner or later.
