Junior T for me! New pics 3/20/10

Post by RedScampi »

I was trolling ebay this morning while waiting for the kids to get up, and ended up buying myself a Christmas present. I have wanted one of these for quite a while and this NIB popped up! :D I hit the buy it now and got it for $175.00. I guess it might be a bit on the high side but dang it, I can't afford a NIB JRX2! Since the shrink wrap is off I might actually build this to sit along side my new built by bearrickster Junior 2. It will be weird to work with new parts!

nope, not painted yet. i have quite a few that are trimmed and ready to go at the moment (5 to be exact), i just need to find the time to do it.......... and go buy some more paint.

the only thing i question about your kit is the rear tires. looks like the originals must have been robbed from the box. :?

Yikes, didn't catch that! I hope the rest of the stuff is there. Oh well, if everything was perfect, what would I have to do?

maybe someone with more losi knowledge than myself could help with this. but, i'm thinking your kit is a later kit (end of production) going by the manual and supplied decals. that being said, the later kits might have come with more of a modern tire w/ foam inserts. it's a possibility, so maybe those tires are right for that kit. but you wouldn't think so. :?

I guess I'd look at the illustration on the box lid to be accurate. Maybe that doesn't hold true all through the run. If bearrickster is around he can tell us for sure.

Merry Christmas to you too Rick! Cool deal on the flooring, your hobby room will be too nice too work in now. Ironically I just sold my last set of the step pins that I had that weren't being used.

The truck got here yesterday and other than the box top being beat to hell I am extremely pleased! bearrickster has some box art rear tires coming to me (thanks Rick!) The only thing I need is a stock sticker sheet. The one in the box is a generic Losi one. On to the pics!
